SeaSpace was a brand-new concept for Cornwall: an aparthotel with apartments, a workspace, a gym, and a restaurant wrapped around a striking art-deco pool. Designed with bold colours and a Miami Vice-inspired aesthetic, it needed a soundtrack that could live up to its look. Without music, the space risked feeling incomplete - stylish, but missing its pulse.
We set out to create a sonic identity that mirrored the Miami vibe: bright, playful, and cosmopolitan. Think worldly electronica, Balearic grooves, disco-house, and tropical synths music that felt like pastel tones brought to life. It had to be upbeat and fun, but flexible enough to adapt to work, wellness, and social energy. The soundtrack needed to feel as intentional as the interiors, a signature sound for a signature space.
Our Approach
We built the music strategy around the rhythm of the day and the design of the space. Workspaces were given clean, electronic beats to support focus. The pool glowed with shimmering synths and disco edits. The café flowed with soulful, sunlit tracks through the afternoon, before lifting into percussive energy for evenings. Every playlist was tuned not just to an activity, but to the colours, mood, and story of the SeaSpace brand.

Bringing It to Life
At launch, we delivered more than 40 hours of curated music - divided into four core playlists, seasonal capsules, and event crates for special moments. Each list was tagged by mood and tempo, giving staff a simple toolkit to control the energy of the day. Weekly updates and live feedback ensured the soundtrack evolved alongside the community, keeping it fresh but always on-brand.

The result is a sound that feels distinctly SeaSpace: worldly and electronic, yet warm and welcoming. It’s upbeat without being overwhelming, sophisticated without being exclusive. A blend of shimmering synths, global rhythms, and sunlit textures that echoes the Miami Vice aesthetic while remaining grounded in Cornwall’s coastal energy. It’s more than background music - it’s the atmosphere, the brand, the identity in motion.

From the very first day, SeaSpace felt alive. Guests and locals described the music as “upbeat and cool,” instantly connecting the Miami-inspired visuals with a sonic identity unlike anything else in Cornwall. The soundtrack became part of the brand - helping SeaSpace stand out, draw people back, and deliver an experience that feels both global and distinctly coastal.
