We were approached to create three unique pieces of music to complete the digital ad campaign for Lui Jo: Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn’s jean collection. We were tasked with including the sounds of the jeans moving within the piece and given musical references of the Arctic Monkeys.


Working with their team and the director of the commercials we ensured each of the three compositions had moments that drew out the rebellious feel of the brand. As part of the design we used sounds of the un-popping of the buttons on Karlie Kloss’s jeans, and the crackling of the vinyl to capture the rawness of the denim material. This was then matched with strong guitar melodies, heavy drums and light vocals.
